There's something intensely unfair about watching the events today -- here we have young Steve Irwin, one of the gentle, caring people of the world, going to his reward, albeit with much love and many laurels following him after ... and we have George W. Bush standing up at the UN and embarrassing my pipples publicly ah but yet again. Oh, it's not "torture" in the same way Fat Head King George wasn't "elected", I guess. He doesn't want anyone seeking grey areas (supposedly) about "life", but he can quibble all he wants on what "torture" means. His speech reminded me of a US commercial wherein an attorney stands before a jury and says, "Is DNA really evidence?" then tries to persuade them by shaking her head and mouthing "No".
George has got to be a monarch-friendly EU secret weapon. That's gaining ground as a theory these days, and while I'd hate to think it of the land of my family, I must agree it has its merits. Why else would George Bush sink us into catastrophic debt from which we'll never emerge? I can imagine he's dumb enough to do it, but GWB isn't President anymore than Reagan was. Nixon's own henchman, Dick Cheney, is President now. Why would they so seriously impair the country? I ask myself that, just as I wonder why in the world any Arab state (covertly or not) would support an attack on the US. It certainly doesn't help them. For whom is it good? Well, as the Euro gains dominance more and more against the dollar, I know what I think.
It wasn't the people of the EU, of course, anymore than we're behind what is going on in Iraq. We're all just pawns. It's the anti-Republic elements in the EU who'd very much like to see us destroyed. What would rise in its wake? Well, if Great Britain were in charge, I'd have fewer nightmare. It's not going to be the US at the lead, which was another part of GWB's job -- destroying our self-respect and all and any respect we had in the world.
None of this, of course, is discussed in the US anywhere but in political science and historical research publications that no one reads.
While I don't wish ill on anyone, even GWB, if there had to be one of these two men who fell to the stingray, I know which heart I'd choose for piercing. And it wouldn't be Steve's. Even at that, George would have come through with flying colors, since he has no human heart to pierce.
Rest in peace, Steve. I hope you're in the arms of all knowledge now. If you can, kick us over some recon on how to deal with this curious sea creature, Mr Bush, would you?
October 5th, which will be a national day of protest (yes, another one) in the US, is coming soon. Find out how to put together events or attend one in your area -- worldcantwait.org
