I'm using a novel cartoon character reference of my own era in the House/Wilson novel (long story), since House and I are roughly the same age. I don't want to use something too obscure, however. Do you younger folk know of Lippy the Lion ... as in Lippy the Lion and Hardy-Har-Ha?
