We dream of stars with points and purpose
We dream of stars with points and purpose but the reality is nothing more than consolidated minerals and gas. Still and all, I prefer to think of stars as poetry. I guess maybe that's why I prefer to see modern politicians as human. In some instances, as with George Bush, the reality is far too blatant to ignore.

He opposes everything I am for and is against everything I embrace. It's that kind of truculent, bitch-slapping nihilist that triggers revolution. I wasn't at all surprised to hear of the new t-shirt cropping up on Obama supporters in Philadelphia -- it says "Philadelphia Freedom 2009". A-fuckin'-men, brothers and sisters. However, I'm really way past the top of the hour when it comes to this primary.

In the words of Goethe --
Der Worte sind genug gewechselt, lasst mich auch endlich Taten sehn
! Now I don't know what the hell that means since I don't read a word of German, but Babblefugue mangles it into:
Enough words have been exchanged; now at last let me see some deeds!
