Vincent Bugliosi video
He speaks to Los Angeles' Progressive Democrats of America (yay, team!) on the subject of his book, "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder" which is now being sent to all the state Attorney Generals and the prosecutors of big cities. He discusses his idea of an AG or prosecutor filing charges at the local level for murder -- and he thinks there's a chance of getting him charged AND convicted. And yes, Bugliosi wants him charged with capital murder with all the potential penalties that implies. While I'm against the death penalty, I do love the idea of the bastard having to beg for clemency like he has made so many beg only to be turned down at the last minute.

Bugliosi announces the backing of his initiative by a major southern Republican senator. Also, thank heavens for the BBC -- they came up with much of the financial backing for the documentary based on the book since he couldn't secure funding inside the US (he damned near couldn't find a publisher). Bush's famous octopus has spread its tentacles out in every direction it seems.

I should point out that Bugliosi is a former California DA who successfully prosecuted Manson and his followers for murder. He has only lost one case -- he has never lost a murder case.

This is part 1 -- here is part 2 and part 3.

Allow me to reiterate: I'm against killing people AT ALL. I do not believe in the death penalty (which I thought I made VERY obvious ... in fact I think I said that specifically). Although I'd love to see Bush beg as he's made others beg, I ONLY want to see him beg. I also want him to live a long, long life AFTER he begs.

Paging Pastor John Hagee, please pick up the white courtesy phone
“And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the

supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed

with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter.

But we may hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in

these United States will do away with all this artificial

scaffolding…”

Thomas Jefferson to John Adams 1823 letter

"This most important of correspondence in the history of our country, revealing to us the true intentions at the heart of the nation." William Burnett, "On the Adams and Jefferson Letters"

And in that seditious spirit, here's the Adams/Jefferson vid uploaded to Youtube (I know a couple of folk had trouble at Imeem)

Big news! The referendum to name the new San Francisco Bay area sewage treatment plant "The George W. Bush Sewage Treatment Facility" has made it to the November ballot! Those of you in the bay area, remember: vote early, vote often.

Olbermann special comments )

We are so lucky to have this intelligent and eloquent man on a US news network (my god, who knew I'd be saying that about our old local sports guy? lol). BTW, if you missed Richard Klein on his show last night, you missed a gem -- he was hilarious.
